I Agree...Yellow was the best of 1st Gen...because it is unique to have Pikachu follow you on the Over world and have actual emotions...It also corrected some flaws that were in R/B...(Like Missingno.)And Had all starters obtainable...It Certainly offered some unique qualitys that stand out compared to the others...

And on other game has all obtainable starters.
Why doesn't nitendo remake this game also for the ds platform because i think its equal to the hg and ss.

I selected yes, because people like me who have never played the game don't really have a chance to, besides emulators and stuff. And since it looks like a good game, it would be a shame never to play it, but a remake would give others a chance.
Enough of my rants though. All in all, a yes from me.

They failed because noobs did it not you and me or my crew!

I think Yellow IS the best 1st Gen game, because it was the first Pokemon game I ever possessed. I finished it in 17 hrs of playtime and immediately bought Gold afterward. Another reason that I think Yellow is better is because I could finally use the abilities of my GameBoy Color 
and because you had Pikachu walking right behind you 
. Also, you could get all three of the starters in the game. I still remember as if it were yesterday that my very first Hall of Fame featured Pikachu, Charizard 
, Venasaur, Blastoise, Snorlax (I pwned everyone with him) and Kadabra (I never had the option to trade it 
).

The Generation that started it all...It will always have a place in my heart...They're were a lot of failed remakes indeed...But it doesn't mean were all bound to fail...
And I don't believe that a lot of people...(Not all...)Hate the 1st Generation...Without them...We'd not be hacking Pokemon today...Now Would we...

I totally agree with you Shadow Ray. I guess people forgot how POPULAR the 1st Gen was when it was released. It was one of a kind. Never before could you catch 150 monsters in one game (you couldn't exactly catch Mew). It was one of its kind and that's been the main drive for the creators to continue on the Game Boy Pocket and Color.
